Nothing to Wear
This illustration got its start as a speed paint from the Daily Spit Paint group on Facebook. I loved the scene so much, I decided to build upon the original speed paint. There is something about backlit scenes that I adore a lot. Backlit scenes are one of the more difficult illustrations to do because of the tough lighting conditions. And yet I am drawn to this kind of scene. The painting is not perfect by any means, but I really love how I pulled off the coherent look of the light in this image.
