This week’s art activities are fairly standard for the most part. I spent some time grinding on long-term projects as well as dabbling in DSP activities. “Emergency Warning” and “Left Behind” are great sketches that denote my interest in the narrative. But I believe the best sketch with the most “telling moment” would have to be the “The Dark Lord Awakens.” I’m pretty sure people who encountered it in DSP did not expect that interpretation of that prompt.
Of course, my weekend speed paint, as usual, is my top favorite for this week. “Steampunk Santa” is an entry for a sketchzone art challenge prompt. It’s debatable how close my design is to steampunk visual language. There are certain elements of my illustration that could be easily deemed steampunk-ish. But as for the overall steampunk aesthetic, it’s ok. What I love about the illustration though is the setting. I think I did a great job painting the character in an environment doing what seems like a plausible steampunk activity.
Anyways, that is it for me this week folks. Sayonara!daily spit paint daily spit paint group sketchbook sketchbook sunday sketchbook update sketches speed paint speed painting speed paints Sketchbook Update
I don't like ads. I don't think anyone likes ads. But they do play a pivotal role in our lives. In my case, ads help pay the bills. So unfortunately, advertisements will go here. The good news is that I have not set up advertisements for this website yet. Yay! But if you do want to help me out in the smallest of ways, then head over to my YouTube Channel and subscribe. Not only will you be helping me out, you will also learn a thing or two about my art! Hooray for learning!
