This week felt like the first full of week of being back into the full swing of things. I’m back doing my regular grinds. I have been pushing them off for the majority of December in favor of doing a bunch of traditional work. I wrapped those projects a while back, though I’m about to start a new round of it this coming Wednesday. As for my grinds, they are going well. I’m still stuck in the sketch phase of “Temple Waterfall.” I’m really digging the sketch so far. I did a massive edit on “Proving Grounds.” It was immensely nerve-racking as well as exciting. Daily Spit Paints is a consistent jam of course. I haven’t been doing DSPs during the weekend though. The past few weekends have been somewhat hectic. I’m hoping to rectify that next weekend… hopefully, lol.
I didn’t really like this weekend’s speed painting. The prompt “The Big Tree” is for the monthly contest over at Krita-artists.org. I’ve been imagining what I wanted to do all week… but I somehow changed the comp at the very last minute. The resulting change wasn’t what I hoped for. I would have done the comp in my head as a second entry, but alas I ran out of time. Oh well… you win some you lose some.
Anyways, this is it for me this week folks. You guys have a relaxing rest of the weekend!
