The last two updates were quick and to the point. It was nice, but it was also horribly missing good context… which I’m planning on remedying today. If I have to pick my favorites from the last two updates, it would have to be these;
Except for “Sworn Enemies,” practically all of the artwork were done for the Daily Spit Paint group, which means they were all done under thirty minutes. I absolutely love “Sworn Enemies.” My inspiration for it was a map crunch photo. I originally wanted to straight copy the source and have the “fight scene” set inside a building… but at the last minute I decided to do an exterior scene instead. I think the choice is uber cool. “Homeless Persons’ Dining Room” trended for a little while, I think… and I absolutely love the colors on “Caught on Camera.”
As for this week’s updates…
“Losing Weight” was trendy in the group. It was an unexpected interpretation of the prompt. I gotta love last-minute inspirations. I didn’t think about doing that particular illustration until fifteen minutes into eating my lunch (I typically do my DSP sketches during my lunch break). I thought it was a fairly clever interpretation. My absolute favorites for this week are “Midnight Reading” and “Delivery.”
That’s it for me today folks.
