I found myself back to my regular scheduled program. I have been obsessed with 3D sculpts lately, and it felt like the past three weeks have been solely devoted to this endeavor. It felt nice to be digitally painting again. I love to sculpt, honestly, I really do. But I don’t like all the technicalities of digital sculpting. Digital sculpting can get really confusing.
This weekend I found myself developing a piece I originally did for DSP. I combined this particular piece with another prompt I got from sketch zone. “Neon – Together for Life” is a combination of those two prompts. The original DSP “Together for Life” had regular lighting. It was backlit by a strong green neon light, so I thought it would make a great piece to redevelop for the sketch zone prompt. But after doing a little research on neon light… I realized that neons wash out any kind of colors in a scene. The whole environment ends up being monochromatic in look. This is what I tried to go for in my three-hour version of the piece. The new piece is washed out in blue neon light… with a pink neon light as a backlight source to accentuate the whole scene. It felt nice going for a semi-monochromatic scene since it really simplified my decision-making process.

I don't like ads. I don't think anyone likes ads. But they do play a pivotal role in our lives. In my case, ads help pay the bills. So unfortunately, advertisements will go here. The good news is that I have not set up advertisements for this website yet. Yay! But if you do want to help me out in the smallest of ways, then head over to my YouTube Channel and subscribe. Not only will you be helping me out, you will also learn a thing or two about my art! Hooray for learning!
