Sketchbook Sunday 06.19.2022

June 19, 2022

My art project set for the weekend was sort of a dud. I was going to try and color an old 3D project… but I ran into unforeseen issues so I decided to bench that project in favor of doing an entry for this month’s Character Design Challenge.

“Fallen Angel” is what I finished for the CD Challenge. The competition prompt this month is “Angels of Light and Darkness.” My original inspiration was a Seraphim, so technically my angel should be an angel of light… but my entry did go a little dark… so yeah, my entry is now a “Fallen Angel,” lol. In my defense though, the Biblically accurate Seraphim is hands down super creepier looking than mine. The Biblical Seraphim has four faces! FOUR Faces! and the description of it gets weirder after that. So in the end, my weird-looking illustration is actually pretty tame.

Anyways… that is all for me this week. I don’t have much artwork to post since I spent the better part of this week troubleshooting my computer. I am also holding off on posting “Proving Grounds” for now. I am done with it… but I’m letting it marinate a little longer. Okay… I’m out! Sayonara! Mabuhay!

I don't like ads. I don't think anyone likes ads. But they do play a pivotal role in our lives. In my case, ads help pay the bills. So unfortunately, advertisements will go here. The good news is that I have not set up advertisements for this website yet. Yay! But if you do want to help me out in the smallest of ways, then head over to my YouTube Channel and subscribe. Not only will you be helping me out, you will also learn a thing or two about my art! Hooray for learning!
