Sketchbook Sunday 11.28.2021

November 28, 2021

Happy Thanksgiving Week! This week had been filled with super-secret art projects. The majority of the stuff I had worked on this week is meant for gifts for Christmas, hence I only have a few arts to show for this week;

But the few that I can show did give me huge delight. Obviously, the biggest highlight of the week is “Maya Lynx.” The artwork is inspired by an artist I know who goes by the name “Lynx,” hence the name… Lynx. I’m not quite sure where I got the idea to illustrate an arboretum, but it feels like the perfect setting to paint a girl and her pet cat. The project took me much longer than I had planned for… but that extra time I took is definitely worth it. The labor of love definitely shows. I love the dappled light effects and the reflections on the floor. The painting definitely came out better than I had expected.

Anyways, this is all for me this week. Gobble gobble everyone! Nom nom nom…

    I don't like ads. I don't think anyone likes ads. But they do play a pivotal role in our lives. In my case, ads help pay the bills. So unfortunately, advertisements will go here. The good news is that I have not set up advertisements for this website yet. Yay! But if you do want to help me out in the smallest of ways, then head over to my YouTube Channel and subscribe. Not only will you be helping me out, you will also learn a thing or two about my art! Hooray for learning!
