It was quiet this week in the art front. I’m still full steam ahead in trying to finish “Tinikling.” I honestly thought I would have completed it by now, but alas I’ve waited a full year for it so what is one more month? I’m slightly struggling on figuring out some of the special effects in the painting. I’ve been scouring the internet for good reference, but the kind of reference I specifically need is hard to come by… so I would heavily have to just do with my imagination on pulling off the special effects.
The sketches were decent this week. Nothing struck me as super genius or anything except “Snow Globe.” I’m not sure why, but I really like this particular speed paint. Like I said, my speed paints are hit or miss… with mostly misses. “Snow Globe” is definitely a hit in my favorite radar scope. I think I like it most since the interpretation of “Snow Globe” is very subtle rather than forced. One has to figure out exactly what is going on in the scene to understand why it is a “Snow Globe.”
Anyways, the Motley Crew of this week;
I also keep forgetting to share the fact that I have a new video out as well. Check it out;
That’s it for me folks. Happy Easter everyone!
