Sketchbook Update 03.01.2020

March 1, 2020

I got a few good hours of work this week, so overall I feel fairly productive. I had pushed forward with my long grinds, though I didn’t get anywhere near as far as I would have liked;

WIPs for this post are missing. Please check the latest WIPS in my art journal.

“Ang Dalaga and the Royal Baby” finally got some color added to it. It went through a few rounds of critique in my critique groups. The consensus is that the colors are too messy and too alike…. almost as if the girl is blending into the background. I have to combat this problem soon before it becomes too problematic later.

As for “The Guardian,” I haven’t had the chance to get a critique of its current status. I still feel like I need to keep detailing the background for it to make more sense to people. The background is currently more readable now than compared to before, which is definitely good news. Whether or not it’s too over detailed yet, I will have to see.

And here are these weeks spit paints and sketches;

See ya!

  • Advertisements Go Here

    I don't like ads. I don't think anyone likes ads. But they do play a pivotal role in our lives. In my case, ads help pay the bills. So unfortunately, advertisements will go here. The good news is that I have not set up advertisements for this website yet. Yay! But if you do want to help me out in the smallest of ways, then head over to my YouTube Channel and subscribe. Not only will you be helping me out, you will also learn a thing or two about my art! Hooray for learning!
