A speed painting

This is one of my favorite photo studies (of sort) that I did last year for a FB Krita group prompt. The Krita Art Challenge was for us to draw/paint smoke. Originally I was going to illustrate another image, but I ended up doing this photo study instead when I saw this photo by Edward Eyer. Check out the video timelapse to see how this artwork changed from my original idea to this image.

05.14.2020 NOTE: I honestly thought my idea for this painting was original, until I came across a painting made by Annis Naeem. I totally forgot about his “Plumehead” series. I now realized that he had been my subconscious inspiration for this image. Check out his “Plumehead” series;

  • Advertisements Go Here

    I don't like ads. I don't think anyone likes ads. But they do play a pivotal role in our lives. In my case, ads help pay the bills. So unfortunately, advertisements will go here. The good news is that I have not set up advertisements for this website yet. Yay! But if you do want to help me out in the smallest of ways, then head over to my YouTube Channel and subscribe. Not only will you be helping me out, you will also learn a thing or two about my art! Hooray for learning!
