This illustration was inspired by a totally different speed paint prompt for DSP. The original speed paint has this particular space, which I wanted to redevelop in this piece. I also wanted to do an illustration with some creative reflections. Originally I just wanted the guy to be off camera but have his reflection on the windows… but as soon as I finished the illustration I just realized that the reflections have a “ghostly” innuendo.
Is the suitor off camera? Or is he not there at all? You decide.
